Into the book
I am more attracted to things that are invisible.
There are so many things in the world that cannot be seen, touched, felt, or understood.
The true starting point of love is to turn your eyes right here.
People tend to think that the reality we're trapped in is the whole world, but I assure you that's not true at all.
Sometimes it's good to open the door wide and see how much exists beyond the world.
What is just a dream today will become reality tomorrow.
--- p.21 From “Love comes first before teaching anything”
The rabbit was good at running.
No one could catch the rabbit in a race.
But the school said that if the rabbit took flying lessons, it would be a good experience for him intellectually and emotionally.
So, with the sole intention of teaching the rabbit to fly, the teachers stood the rabbit on a high branch and said, "Rabbit, fly! I told you to fly!"
The poor rabbit jumped from the branch and ended up breaking his leg and hurting his head.
The rabbit with the injured leg now gets a C instead of an A in the running race.
And thanks to my efforts, I got a D in flying.
The school was satisfied with its teaching methods by seeing the rabbits receiving even grades in each subject.
--- p.29 From “Learning to Fly in the Sky from a Fast-Running Rabbit”
“Guys, how about learning about supermarkets?” Then the children answered in unison.
“It’s not fun!” As you all know, kids these days are much smarter than they used to be.
According to research by Canadian media theorist and cultural critic Professor Marshall McLuhan, children today have already watched over 5,000 hours of television before entering kindergarten. Children witness people dying in real time.
We also witness terrible accidents.
We also witness scenes of war and mass murder.
Bringing these kids here and trying to motivate them with storybooks… … , trying to make studying fun with a mud banana… … .
So she made a groundbreaking statement.
“Okay then.
“What do you want to learn?”
Then one child answered bravely.
“My dad works at a rocket factory. We asked him to make us a rocket, built it in the classroom, and then went on a trip to the moon.” Then the children shouted in unison.
Wow, that sounds interesting! She thought for a moment before speaking.
“Okay, then ask your father to bring you just one rocket.”

Publisher's Review
Even though I am an adult, I still feel like I am lacking
Teachers who feel that teaching is not easy as an educator
A book for people who love but have trouble expressing it.
To live is to risk death, and to hope is to risk disappointment.
To try is to risk failure, and if you don't take a chance, you've done nothing.
Nevertheless, we must love one another, live with hope, and never stop challenging ourselves for our own lives.
The author's eloquence, which speaks more honestly than anyone else about self-love, suggests a path to a truly happy life for modern people suffering from loneliness and loss.
For modern people who only think of themselves, this book makes them realize that everyone must live with others, love others unconditionally, and find true happiness by learning something from them.
This book, which has been introduced to Korea through the headquarters for over 35 years and has been reprinted 120 times, has been providing comfort to readers. Those who should read this book are those who have become adults but still feel inadequate, those who feel that teaching as an educator is not easy, and those who struggle with how to express their love. The author's honest and insightful advice will be of great help.
